MO-Labs

Mathematics made
visible — and tangible.

MO‑Labs is the studio of mathematician Oliver Labs: algebraic surfaces as fine‑art prints, and mathematical forms as 3D‑printed sculptures.

3D-printed mathematical sculptures

MO‑Labs is also known for its 3D‑printed mathematical sculptures — algebraic surfaces and models made to hold, not just to look at. Explore the sculptures, with details and ordering, on the dedicated site.

About

Oliver Labs is a mathematician who constructs algebraic surfaces carrying record numbers of singular points. Several are his own discoveries — among them the Labs septic, the world record for degree 7 with 99 singular points. His renderings bring both these own results and the great classical surfaces — Barth, Kummer, Clebsch, Togliatti and more — to life, each credited to the mathematician who found it.
